Nigerian online critic Vincent Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has met renowned music mogul Michael Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy, the founder of Mavin Records, after a surprising act of generosity from the music executive. Don Jazzy made headlines recently for donating a whopping N100 million to VDM’s NGO, despite the fact that VDM had previously insulted him on social media.
The donation left many surprised, as VDM had been a vocal critic of Don Jazzy in the past. However, the generous gesture demonstrated Don Jazzy’s willingness to rise above personal differences in support of causes that matter. In a video posted on his official Instagram account, VDM shared the moment when he met Don Jazzy face-to-face for the first time.
In the video, VeryDarkMan expressed his gratitude for the unexpected donation.
Don Jazzy, who appeared moved by the gesture, noticed VDM’s display of respect and bowed back to him. The two men then shook hands in a show of mutual respect and understanding.
During the video, VDM also addressed the teasing he had received from some of his followers, who had criticized him for insulting Don Jazzy in the past. He acknowledged that his previous comments might have been harsh but emphasized that he was now fully appreciative of the support and generosity Don Jazzy had shown him.
