VeryDarkMan Raises Concerns Over Bias in Mercy Chinwo’s Lawsuit Against Former Label Boss

Controversial online critic VeryDarkMan has recently made waves by presenting what he claims is evidence linking Gospel singer Mercy Chinwo to a lawsuit against her former record label boss, Eezee Tee. The lawsuit, filed by Chinwo, accuses Eezee Tee of financial fraud and exploiting her during their professional relationship. VeryDarkMan’s claims have sparked a heated debate, especially regarding the potential bias in the legal proceedings.

In an update shared on Instagram, VeryDarkMan revealed information that he believes connects Mercy Chinwo to the ongoing lawsuit. The outspoken critic detailed that both the prosecutor and the judge involved in the case have personal ties to the Gospel singer, which he argues could influence the fairness of the trial. According to VeryDarkMan, Mikel Ezekwe, the prosecutor, has been sanctioned by the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) for alleged human rights violations, calling into question his qualifications to handle the case.

“The prosecutor has a questionable record, and his previous sanctions by the NBA shouldn’t be overlooked,” VeryDarkMan stated in his Instagram video. “This raises significant concerns about the integrity of the case from the start.” His accusations against the prosecutor have further intensified public scrutiny of the lawsuit, especially as he suggested that Ezekwe’s involvement could compromise the fairness of the trial.

In addition to his criticism of the prosecutor, VeryDarkMan pointed out a concerning detail: the judge presiding over the case, Omaeye Alexander, is an Instagram follower of Mercy Chinwo. This connection, according to VeryDarkMan, raises further questions about the impartiality of the legal proceedings. “The judge following Mercy Chinwo on social media could signal a deeper relationship,” he said, adding that it might be difficult to trust the case will be handled without bias.

VeryDarkMan went on to suggest that the judge should consider stepping down due to these apparent ties. “This case should be given to a neutral person, a Muslim judge who doesn’t know Mercy Chinwo, doesn’t listen to gospel songs, and doesn’t know Eezee Tee,” he proposed. His statement highlighted his belief that a neutral party should be appointed to ensure fairness and transparency in the trial.

Supporters of Mercy Chinwo have responded by defending the singer’s integrity, dismissing VeryDarkMan’s claims as an attempt to stir controversy. They argue that accusations of bias are common in high-profile celebrity cases, particularly those involving relationships with media and legal figures. However, VeryDarkMan’s pointed remarks have led some to question whether the lawsuit will be handled impartially moving forward.
