Veteran nollywood actor, Fadeyi Oloro Is dead

Nollywood has lost another veteran actor as Ojo Arowosafe, popularly known as Fadeyi Oloro, passed away on Tuesday after a long battle with an undisclosed illness.

The news was confirmed by actor and comedian, Bayegun Oluwatoyin aka Woli Arole, who took to his Instagram page to pay his respects to the late actor.

Born on September 15, 1957, Fadeyi Oloro became a household name in the 80s and late 90s for his iconic role as a herbalist in Nollywood movies. His talent and dedication to his craft earned him a special place in the hearts of movie lovers in Nigeria and beyond.

Despite his popularity, the late actor faced financial difficulties due to his ailing health. In 2020, he called on Nigerians to support him financially so that he could take care of his health. He expressed his gratitude for the support he received from well-wishers, but noted that he had not fully recovered and still needed more help.

In his final days, Fadeyi Oloro was remembered for his contribution to the growth and development of Nollywood. Fans and colleagues took to social media to pay their respects and share their fond memories of the late actor.
