Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has reacted to the arrest of fellow rapper, Portable, who was apprehended by the Police for alleged assault on Friday.
In a recent update, the command disclosed that Portable would be in detention till Monday, 3rd March when he would be arraigned in court.
In a Twitter post, Blaqbonez shared a chat he had with Portable just a week before his arrest.
In the chat, Portable had appealed to Blaqbonez for them to collaborate on a music project together, which Blaqbonez agreed to. However, just a few days later, Portable was arrested and is currently in detention pending arraignment in court on Monday, April 3rd.
Blaqbonez expressed his sadness over the situation and extended his condolences to Portable. He wrote: “damn just last week he said we should get in the studio, now he’s serving a life sentence. Till we meet again my bro.”
