Whitemoney Responds to Accusations of Wearing Counterfeit Designer Shoes

Big Brother Naija winner, Whitemoney, has found himself in the midst of controversy after being accused of wearing counterfeit designer shoes. The reality star recently posted a video on his social media, showing off his high-end footwear collection, which included a pair of Louis Vuitton mules. However, a luxury fashion watchdog page took to social media to claim that the shoes were not authentic, sparking a debate among his followers.

The fashion watchdog’s post accused Whitemoney of wearing a knock-off pair of Louis Vuitton mules, which, according to the page, were likely sourced from sites known for selling replica products. The accusation raised questions about the authenticity of the reality star’s designer items, which were prominently displayed in his video. This post quickly gained attention, with many fans and critics engaging in the debate over the legitimacy of Whitemoney’s footwear.

In a light-hearted and confident response, Whitemoney addressed the claims in a follow-up video. Laughing off the controversy, he declared, “there’s no such thing as ‘fake shoes’ in the footwear business — just different grades.” His humorous take seemed to downplay the accusations, suggesting that the footwear industry categorizes shoes into various grades, with “Grade-A” shoes being a legitimate category.

Whitemoney further joked about his “Grade-A” shoes, claiming that he is even an ambassador for them. He added, “I have plenty of shoes, this is just a portion of them. I’m even an ambassador for grade A shoes my brother. There’s nothing like fake, just grades my brother. If you give me the original, I will tell you thank you. I would be so appreciative, my brother. So help me, help me.” His casual and confident demeanor in addressing the issue left some fans laughing, while others remained skeptical about the authenticity of his collection.

In addition to his video, Whitemoney also shared a caption, humorously admitting that he couldn’t currently afford the original items. “Deleting soon 🔜 🧑‍🦯 Chaii @t20luxury don catch me finally, please help me bro I no fit afford original for now, soon I will get there, until then dash me a few original stuffs make I model for you, I get a better body and I be fine man 🥰, I would appreciate on God Oyem 🙏OTAMIEMIE,” he wrote.
