Yoruba Ko’Ya Sets Up Special Relief Fund For Yorubas In Distress

Arising from her monthly meeting of the Executive Management Council of Yoruba Ko’Ya Leadership and Training Foundation (YLKTF), announce the set up of a special Relief Fund window account, to manage and distribute various relief materials as appeal and donations, to support our kinsmen/women in serious distress situations, resulting from various attacks by criminally minded ‘Fulani herdsmen’ in farms and homes across Yorubaland. 

In the meantime, the Foundation expressed its willingness to continue with its earlier *Relief Donations, Agriculture Empowerment and Farm Training/Implements Delivery programmes* on SMEs to members across Yorubaland, which started since its creation in Sept 2017.

The Executive Council of the Foundation also endorsed its political advocacy initiatives to join other socio-cultural groups within Yorubaland, to propagate the ‘Yoruba Agenda’, as entrenched in the current irrevocable demand for *Complete Restructuring of all governance sectors in Nigeria before 2023 General elections, using the 2014 National Confab Report recommendations,* failing which, the endorsement of *Autonomous Regional Governance.*

The Foundation again endorse June 12th as Yoruba Referendum Day while modalities of engagement in this regard will be released soon.
