Penultimate Sunday witnessed the celebration of another milestone in the life of Toyin Saraki who turned 56.
On that day, her husband, who is the immediate former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, took to his instagram page to shower praises on his wife.
“Happy birthday, Toyin Saraki, you’re a shining light and I’m blessed to have you in my life. I pray you have an amazing year,” he wrote on his wall.
The former governor extolled the role his wife played in their marriage, saying her perseverance, dedication, sense of duty and commitment helped to make their marriage a success.
Although, Toyin, founder and President, The Wellbeing Foundation Africa, would have loved to roll out the drums in celebration of her birthday but due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the need to observe its protocols, she opted for a low-key celebration.
Birthday wishes from friends, family members and other well-wishers kept flooding her timelines on social media platforms. And the philanthropist was thankful, saying, “Thankful for another year, thankful for my 56 years, hopeful for many more, and thankful for your good wishes, love and prayers. Happy Birthday to everyone born today, September 6th, and God bless you all! Amen.”
