Adesina Olayinka: Investigation Ongoing, Says Wetland Hotel

Sequel to the tragic incident of a popular online vendor in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, Adeshina Olayinka, known as Khadi, who was found dead in a hotel on Thursday, April 6, management of the facility, Wetland Hotel, has reacted to the incident.
The news of Olayinka’s death came to public knowledge on Saturday following an Instagram post by Oloriebiblog stating that Khadi was reported dead after she had earlier lodged with a man who is yet to be identified.
Reacting to the development, the hotel management in a statement issued described the incident as unfortunate.
According to the management, that they are fully in cooperation with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) in their investigation to unravel the cause of her death and those responsible will be brought to book.
The management, however, urges members of the public to be patient during what they described as a difficult time.
“To the General Public and our Dear Valued Guests, We regret to inform you that an unfortunate incident occurred at our hotel, Wetland Hotel. One of our guests passed away while staying with us,” the management stated.
“We are fully cooperating with the authorities in their investigation into this matter, and we assure you that we are doing everything we can to assist the police in their efforts to determine the cause of death.
“Please rest assured that the safety and well-being of our guests and staff are our top priority. We have taken all necessary measures to ensure that our facilities and services continue to meet the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
“As the investigation is ongoing, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding during this difficult time. We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
“We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the deceased, and we offer our support to all those affected by this tragic event.”
