The elder sister of Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has publicly apologized to Nigerians for his recent actions, claiming that a family member may be spiritually influencing his behavior.
In a viral video shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the woman, who identified herself as Portable’s elder sister, expressed her appreciation for the singer’s past generosity. She revealed how Portable financially supported her during a critical health crisis, which she says helped save her life.
Despite the positive support she acknowledged, the singer’s sister made serious allegations against a relative named Akeem, accusing him of negatively influencing Portable’s actions. “Portable has never stolen from anyone. He has been the one taking care of our family. If not for him, I wouldn’t be alive today,” she said in the video.
The woman went on to claim that Akeem’s actions were causing the artist’s erratic behavior. “If anything happens to me, Akeem should be held responsible. He is the one manipulating Portable and causing problems,” she added.
