The United States California-based Media Network, UCTRN Networks, has appointed Nigeria’s duo of Wale Adeoba and Joseph Akinola as its correspondents, Freelanews can exclusively report.
In a letter addressed to the duo individually and co-signed by the Chief Executive Officer of the Networks, Lady Alicia Hamilton, the two were notified of their appointments through the strength of recommendation.
“Upon a strong recommendation from our esteemed ally and colleague, Ambassador Shola Agboola, the founder and CEO of SAGA Foundation, it is our pleasure to appoint you as a UC TRN International News Correspondent for the Country of Nigeria,” the letter read in part.
The two members of the SAGA Foundation will work for the UC TRN Networks, located on the internet at TRN.tv, from Nigeria.
According to Ambassador Agboola, “The two men have demonstrated outstanding performance and reliability in the course of carrying out their duties at the Foundation”.
He went further to say that the media appointment with the media network is just one of many golden opportunities that SAGA foundation is determined to bring to the youths of Nigeria in search of career opportunities in the international arena.
The networks is said to combine the best of traditional television broadcasting, live streaming and International OTT and IPTV platform on mobile and hand-held devices (smart phones, pads, tablets) computers, and smart TVs anywhere in the world with internet connectivity. Presently, the Network’s digital distribution platforms and broadcast affiliates reach over 140 countries in six continents.
Continuing, the network added, “Your appointment as a UC TRN Network News correspondents will provide you with privileged access to our private network of 300,000+ media community subscribers and present the causes, issues, narratives and news that impact your country and local community.”
Adeoba and Akinola’s appointments seemed connected with the need for local stories representing the voice of the African people, which provide evidence of their local needs that can be further addressed by dignitaries, government officials, politicians, clergy and community leaders who are positioned to affect much needed change in our world today.
UC TRN Networks platforms provide community leaders, stakeholders and organisations with media, technology and distribution solutions to reach their audiences and engage their communities.
The platform is a critical interface between global decision-makers and the communities that their decisions impact as the world embrace this season of social consciousness, new narratives, themes that impact humankind and perspectives for the planet’s future sustainability.
