APC Mocks PDP, Labour Party Over Leadership Crisis, Blasts Ex-Chieftain Lukman

APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has ridiculed the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party, stating that their inability to resolve their lingering leadership crisis is enough proof that they cannot be trusted with the country’s administration.

In a statement issued in Abuja, APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, described the opposition parties as incapable of offering responsible and visionary leadership to Nigeria.

Morka specifically targeted former APC chieftain, Salihu Lukman, for speaking against the party and goading the opposition to kick out President Bola Tinubu from office at the next election.

Lukman had claimed that the 16 years of PDP administration were better than APC’s nine-year reign, and accused Tinubu and his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari, of failing to meet Nigerians’ expectations.

Morka expressed shock at Lukman’s actions, saying it was unbecoming of someone who once held an exalted position in the party.

“It is ludicrous to tout opposition PDP and Labour Party that cannot even manage their internal affairs as capable of offering responsible and visionary leadership to Nigeria,” Morka stated.

He praised President Tinubu for taking bold measures to reset the country’s economy, improve national security, and restore wholesome and sustainable development.

Morka acknowledged that the reforms had increased economic hardship but emphasized that they were necessary to tackle generational economic problems.

He urged Nigerians to remain focused and support President Tinubu in his commitment to building a greater future for the country.

The APC spokesperson concluded by saying, “In the fullness of time, this President shall be vindicated for his vision and unwavering commitment to the national interest and the common good of all.”
