This marks Asake’s second Brit Awards nomination, following his nod in 2024. He is also the sole Nigerian artist to receive a nomination for this year’s ceremony, a testament to his impact on the international music scene. “This nomination isn’t just for me—it’s for the entire African music industry, which continues to break barriers globally,” Asake said in a statement.
