Controversial Nigerian socialite and influencer Bobrisky has made serious allegations against a married man, identified on social media as @bintin_lion. In a recent post, Bobrisky accused the man of attempting to extort him after being rejected romantically. The claims have ignited a heated discussion on social media, with fans and critics weighing in on the unfolding drama.
In a detailed account shared with his followers, Bobrisky explained that the man had allegedly transferred ₦4 million into his brother’s account, claiming it was for a planned holiday trip. However, Bobrisky insists that the real intention behind the payment was to develop a romantic relationship. “He sent ₦4 million to my brother’s account that he’s coming to Nigeria and that we should go for a holiday. All expenses would be paid by him,” Bobrisky wrote.
Bobrisky, however, clarified that he did not meet the man under these terms. He said that even after receiving the money, he did not follow through with the holiday plan. “Fast forward, when I came out, I still didn’t see him because I knew what he wanted,” Bobrisky stated. According to him, this lack of engagement angered the man, who then demanded the money back, accusing Bobrisky of owing him ₦4 million.
The influencer denied these accusations, asserting that the entire situation was a result of the man’s frustration over Bobrisky’s refusal to engage with him romantically. “I am not owing anybody any ₦4 million. The guy claiming that I owe him is a married man who wanted me to date him, but I refused,” Bobrisky stated, elaborating that the man had tried to initiate a relationship with him, which he declined.
Bobrisky’s social media post further explained a troubling encounter the two had during their only in-person meeting. The influencer claimed that the man kissed him without his consent, a move that reportedly led to a heated argument. “The only time I agreed to see him, he kissed me without my permission and I got angry and left,” Bobrisky recalled. This event, according to him, has now become the basis for the man’s anger and the extortion allegations.
