According to Silverdam, Bobrisky is believed to be seeking asylum in Amsterdam, a status typically granted to individuals fleeing persecution or dire conditions in their home country.
“So, I heard mummy of Lagos is currently in asylum refugee camp in Amsterdam, seeking asylum. He/she is not in London. They haven’t lifted the UK ban yet, so he can’t enter the UK,” the blogger posted on social media, fueling further speculation about Bobrisky’s situation. The claims have quickly gained traction, with many questioning the truth behind the crossdresser’s lavish online persona.
Silverdam went on to explain that Bobrisky’s reduced social media activity in recent months suggests something is amiss. “You guys can notice she barely posts lately, in fact, no update from him/her,” the blogger continued. “I guess she will tell them he/she is in danger in Nigeria that’s why he ran to Amsterdam.”
The blogger also pointed out that the Netherlands, particularly Amsterdam, is known for granting asylum to individuals who are at risk of torture, inhuman treatment, or other forms of danger in their home country. “The Netherlands grants asylum to people who are in danger, risk, torture or inhuman treatment in their country of origin,” Silverdam added, suggesting that Bobrisky might have used these grounds to seek refuge.
