Cristiano Ronaldo Reveals He Sends $50,000 Monthly to His Mother

Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo, the global football icon, has revealed in a viral video that he sends his mother approximately $50,000 (around N81 million) every month to help her live comfortably. The former world footballer of the year made the disclosure during a recent interview, highlighting the sacrifices his mother made during his early years. This revelation follows Ronaldo’s growing popularity in Nigeria, especially after enjoying the hit song “Active” by Asake featuring Travis Scott.

Ronaldo spoke emotionally about his mother’s sacrifices, recalling how she worked multiple jobs to support his early football dreams. “When I was young, we were really poor, so my mother worked multiple jobs just to buy me clothes and shoes, so I could play football,” Ronaldo said. “She sacrificed everything so I could chase my dreams and become a football player.” He emphasized how much her support meant to him, crediting her for much of his success.

In the interview, Ronaldo also shared that his mother now lives with him and his family in their $6 million mansion, enjoying a life of luxury that she truly deserves. “Now she lives with us in our $6 million mansion, drives a lot of luxury cars, and enjoys her life because she deserves it,” he said. “My mother is the real reason I became the best football player in the world because, without her, none of this would be possible.”

Currently, Ronaldo boasts a staggering net worth of $500 million and is the most-followed person on Instagram with over 640 million followers.
