Penultimate Thursday, President Mohammad approves renewal of the appointments of 12 non-career ambassadors, assuring Nigerians of fairness in representation and inclusiveness in all matters of governance and both Eniola and Modupe made the list as one of the ambassadors making the country proud internationally.
And like the proverbial cat with nine lives these top socialites has proven to be an ambassador with outstanding survival instincts. Ambassador Eniola Ajayi is an Optometrist/Ocular Pathologist by profession and she owns one of the best-equipped eye clinics of Nigeria in Lagos.
She presented her Letters of Credence to the President of Hungary on 1st December, 2017 as the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to Hungary. She is also concurrently accredited to the Republic of Croatia, Republic of Serbia and to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
All the above-mentioned areas are in the forefront of her activity as an Ambassador, and in her current position, she is striving to bring Nigeria and the countries she is accredited to as close to each other as possible by developing cooperation in these areas and more.
Meanwhile, Irele began her career in banking, spending 15 years as a retail banker, before venturing into education consulting. She runs her own educational consulting practice in Nigeria, Key Learning Solutions and served in the Faculty of Department and Learning and Performance Systems at the Penn State University Department of Education.
