“I Asked Them to Share Their Side of the Story, But They Left It All to God” – VeryDarkMan Defends Video with Naira Marley, Zinoleesky

VeryDarkMan (VDM) has sparked controversy after posting a video showing himself with Nigerian music stars Naira Marley and Zinoleesky at a club. The video, which shows VDM dancing with the two artists and taking selfies while chanting his “don’t play” mantra, has quickly caught the attention of social media users, particularly due to the ongoing discussions about the death of Mohbad, a former Marlian Records artist.

The video has raised eyebrows because Naira Marley and Zinoleesky have both been linked to Mohbad’s death, either directly or indirectly, as they were associated with him through their label. Mohbad’s tragic passing has been the subject of intense speculation, with many blaming his death on issues related to his time at Marlian Records. This connection has led to criticism of VDM for appearing to support the two artists, despite the accusations surrounding them.

VDM had previously made headlines for accusing Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, and Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo of being involved in the singer’s death. His earlier videos revealed his strong dislike for the two women, positioning him against those who have blamed Marley and Zinoleesky. His recent association with the two artists has raised questions about his stance on the situation and whether he is defending them.

In an attempt to clarify his actions, VDM shared a caption alongside the video, justifying his decision to post it. He explained, “I asked them to share their side of the story regarding Mohbad’s death but they declined, stating they’ve left it all to God.” This statement suggests that while he sought clarity from Marley and Zinoleesky, they chose not to speak on the matter, leaving the situation in the hands of fate.

The timing of VDM’s post, combined with his public support for the two artists, has led many to question whether he is attempting to absolve them of any involvement in Mohbad’s death.
