It was sad news for the families of the former All Progressive Congress APC’s vice chairman, Inuwa Abdulkadir and Alhaji Aminu Adisa Logun, a Chief of Staff, Kwara State Government.
Inuwa, died at Usman Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital at the age of 54 after falling sick while Alhaji Aminu Adisa Logun, died of Covid-19 and both were buried amidst tears and encomium.
Nigeria President, Mohammadu Buhari and former governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu commiserated with the families, friends and political associates as they both described them as a committed and patriotic politicians who served the nation diligently.
Also, Kwara state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq who also expressed his sadness commiserated with the family of Aminu and the entire Ilorin Emirate while he declared seven-day mourning in honour of the late Chief of Staff.
According to a report gathered by Society Plus, the turnout of notable politicians at both burials was minimal which many blamed on the Covid-19 pandemic ravaging the country.
And the the dogged politicians whose service to humanity and the demonstration of zeal for the development of the Nation was topnotch lived and exemplary life. Interestingly, Abdulkadir was the pro-chancellor of Sokoto State University.
