My vision for the indigenes of Ibaland –Oba Elect, Sulaimon Adeshina Raji

After His Royal Highness, Oba Ishahu Goriola Oseni, the Oniba of Ibaland joined his ancestors few months ago, the kingmakers of the land has been deliberating and engaging ruling houses within the community to present their eligible candidates to ascend their father’s throne.

The Comment NG gathered that the Idowu Balogun of Idomilaroye family who is to present the next Oniba of Ibaland nominated Sulaimon Adeshina Raji, the current Lagos State Chairman, Okada Rider Association of Nigeria affiliated under roads as a worthy successor, who will build on the late king’s laudable achievements.

When The comment NG contacted Alhaji Sulaimon to talk about his vision for the people of Ibaland, he said “I want to bring Secondary School to my community. Since I was born, there was no secondary school in Ibaland. I was born in 1969 and up till now, I’ve never seen any secondary school in Ibaland.”

He also said aside making sure the community is blessed with secondary schools, he’s assuring the people of the community that immediately he ascend the throne, Ibaland will experience a new dawn as he promised to established Iba Main Market where the community and the neighboring community can trade goods and service without hindrance saying “Most of our old women leave this town to Iyano Iba, Ojo, Alaba, Okoko  before they can buy food stuffs which is very difficult for them. So, I believed if we have our own market, people can come from neighboring communities to patronized them which will boast the economy of Ibaland. So, before I become the Oba or after I’ve been crown the Oba, I will facilitate the establishment of secondary School in Ibaland and we are going to have what we call Iba Market.” He concluded
