“Is Your Body Still the Temple of Christ After BBL?” – I Go Save

Nigerian comedian Otagware Onokhoraye, widely known as I Go Save, has recently caused a stir on social media with a provocative question regarding Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgeries. In a post shared on his official Instagram account, I Go Save asked women who have undergone the procedure whether they still consider their bodies to be “temples of Christ.”

The post read, “Is your body still the temple of Christ after BBL et all?” followed by, “I am asking for an interested sister.” The question quickly attracted attention, blending a discussion of body image, cosmetic surgery, and religious values.

I Go Save’s remarks come after he expressed concerns about the increasing number of Nigerians reaching out to him for small Christmas favors, which has made him reflect on broader social trends. He appeared to question the contradiction between the rising popularity of cosmetic procedures and religious teachings about the sanctity of the human body.

The comedian’s post raised a crucial point regarding whether such beauty enhancements align with the belief that one’s body is a sacred temple, a concept that is central to many Christian teachings. “Is your body still the temple of Christ after BBL et all?” he wrote, implying that the procedure may conflict with religious views on body integrity and purity.

His question sparked a heated debate online, with supporters praising the post for raising important moral questions, while others criticized him for making judgments about personal choices. One follower agreed, stating, “It’s a valid question to ask. People don’t think about the deeper implications of their actions.”

On the other hand, some users disagreed with I Go Save’s stance, stressing that women have the right to make decisions about their bodies without facing judgment. One response read, “It’s no one’s place to judge. People should be free to make decisions about their appearance.”
