My sister did not die of COVID-19 -Senator Ganiyu Olarenwaju Solomon

Contrary to the rumour peddling around the death of Mrs Taiwo Adesoye, a younger sister to Senator Ganiyu Olarenwaju Solomon who died on 29th june 2020 that she died of COVID-19, her elder brother, in a phone conversation with The Comment NG denied it.

According to the distinguished Senator who is fondly called GOS Mrs Taiwo has been sick for a while but she was never at any point in time diagnosed with Coronavirus saying “thank you for the call, it is true I lost a sister but she didn’t die of COVID-19. Although she was ill and eventually died but not Covid-19” he said

The Senator who represented Lagos West constituency from 29 May 2007 to 28 May 2011 was indeed in a pensive mood as the death of his sister was described as a huge loss for the entire family.

Senator is a member of All Progressives Congress. He is a former president of Rotary Club, Isolo and ever since, the former boss of Mushin Local Government lost his bid to become the number one citizen of Lagos State, he has taken a back seat in the schemes of things in Lagos politics since he is no longer in government.
