Pastor Lazarus Muoka, the General Overseer of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, has reassured Nigerians that there is hope despite the many uncertainties facing the nation. Speaking ahead of the church’s annual two-day program titled ‘Hope For The Needy,’ which is set to take place from Saturday, November 23 to Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the church’s National Headquarters in Ijesha, Lagos, Muoka emphasized the power of divine intervention in overcoming despair.
According to Pastor Muoka, the ongoing challenges, including economic difficulties, insecurity, and political instability, have left many Nigerians feeling hopeless. However, he expressed optimism, urging people to seek God’s help in times of distress. “It has become evident that human efforts alone can no longer guarantee hope for those in need. Therefore, God has chosen this programme as a means to restore hope,” he said.
The event, which is expected to bring together thousands of believers, will focus on spiritual restoration and divine intervention. Pastor Muoka, through the church’s Director of Public Relations, Pastor Louis Chidi, further explained the purpose of the program: “Regardless of your circumstances, how long you have been in despair, or who may be contributing to your struggles, we assure you that God has set to intervene in your life, just as He did in biblical times.”
The program, which aims to address the various emotional and spiritual challenges many Nigerians face, will include prayers for individuals and the nation as a whole. Pastor Muoka noted that prayers would be offered for peace and stability, not just on a personal level but also for national and global peace. “We are believing for a breakthrough, and we trust that God’s intervention will bring about the restoration of peace and stability in our lives,” he added.
In addition to the spiritual focus of the event, Muoka’s message carries a call for Nigerians to remain hopeful and not give in to the pressures of daily life. “There is no hopeless case with God,” he affirmed, encouraging attendees to believe in divine solutions and trust that their circumstances can improve through faith and prayer.
