Pastor Leke Adeboye Urges Women to Align Spiritual Practices with Personal Relationships

Pastor Leke Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has called on women to align their spiritual practices with their everyday actions, stressing the importance of maintaining healthy relationships with family members to avoid praying in vain. The pastor’s comments, shared via an Instagram post, serve as a reminder that genuine spiritual devotion should be reflected in one’s personal interactions.

In his post, Pastor Leke specifically addressed women who actively participate in prayer programs led by well-known pastors but struggle to foster good relationships with their husbands, fathers, and other family members. He emphasized that spiritual efforts, such as attending night and early morning prayers, are rendered ineffective if they are not accompanied by love, reconciliation, and harmony in the home.

“Good morning to all the women who are doing night and early morning prayers with pastors Jerry/Bolaji but not speaking with their husbands, fathers, and even their fellow sisters,” Pastor Leke wrote, pointing out the contradiction between spiritual activities and unresolved personal conflicts. His message urged individuals to reflect on the authenticity of their spiritual life by ensuring that it aligns with their everyday behavior and relationships.

Pastor Leke shows the importance of reconciling with others, stressing that prayers and worship lose their significance when they are practiced in the midst of unresolved issues or neglect of personal duties. “May we not all pray and worship in vain,” he added, warning that a lack of reconciliation could render spiritual practices ineffective.

He also extended well wishes to his followers, writing, “Happy Congress, Happy Shiloh, and Happy Experience 2024 to you all in JESUS’ name.”
