Portable Accuses Olamide, Asake, and Davido of Sabotaging His Career in Fiery Social Media Outburst

Rising Nigerian music star, Portable has launched a fierce attack on some of the biggest names in the industry, including Olamide, Asake, and Davido. In an explosive outburst on social media, Portable accused Olamide of using Asake to sabotage his career, claiming the veteran artist’s interference was part of a larger plan to push him out of the music scene. “Olamide used Asake to sabotage me,” Portable said. “His actions were meant to push me out of the industry.

The controversial artist, known for his unapologetic and often contentious statements, explained that Olamide’s interference had a significant impact on his career. He revealed that he was forced to seek solace in Sango Ota, where he struggled to rebuild his team. “Olamide took my producer, my promoter, and my dancer, and I had to start from scratch,” Portable added, indicating how difficult the experience had been for him.

Despite these accusations, Portable did not completely dismiss Olamide’s role in his rise to fame. He acknowledged the veteran artist’s contribution to his hit song “Zazu,” thanking Olamide for the verse he added. “I thank Olamide for the verse he did on ‘Zazu,'” Portable stated, showing a rare moment of gratitude amidst the controversy.

However, Portable’s grievances didn’t end with Olamide. He also accused the artist of copying his unique style, particularly the trend of wearing big shoes and oversized clothes. “Olamide copied my style,” Portable claimed. “He had Asake start wearing big shoes and oversized clothes just like me.” The statement suggests that Portable believes Olamide was trying to emulate his distinctive look to further his own agenda.

Not stopping there, Portable turned his attention to Davido, accusing the Afrobeats superstar of stealing his ideas. He claimed that he was the first to promote cryptocurrency and Bitcoin in the Nigerian music scene, only for Davido to later take credit for the idea. “I was the first to promote cryptocurrency and Bitcoin in the music industry,” Portable said. “Davido stole my idea and took it as his own.”

Portable also criticized the brand Jayplug for appointing Davido as their ambassador, suggesting that they overlooked his own efforts to promote the brand. “I promoted Jayplug before they gave Davido the deal,” he remarked. “Davido just wants small deals; he’s motivated by greed.” This accusation further fuels the ongoing tension between the two artists.
