President Tinubu Honors Late Ohaneze Ndigbo Leader Chief Iwuanyanwu

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has paid tribute to Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, the President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, who passed away while actively championing the rights and welfare of the Igbo people and all Nigerians. The president’s remarks came during a funeral service held in honor of the late leader on Friday, where he was represented by Chief George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

In his address, President Tinubu highlighted Iwuanyanwu’s commitment to humanitarian causes and the significant role he played in advocating for the Igbo community. “I want to commend my governors of the zone for pulling resources together to celebrate a man who gave his life for humanity,” he stated, recognizing the collective effort of southeastern governors in honoring Iwuanyanwu’s legacy.

The president reflected on the impact Iwuanyanwu had on the region and the nation, asserting that his contributions would not be forgotten. “The name of Chief Iwuanyanwu will continue to be remembered by the Igbo people and all Nigerians,” he declared, emphasizing the enduring influence of Iwuanyanwu’s work and dedication.
