Verydarkman Exposes Bobrisky’s EFCC Bribery Scandal

The revelation of alleged bribery of EFCC officials by Bobrisky all started with a leaked WhatsApp call, exposed by outspoken media figure, VeryDarkMan (VDM). This shocking video made by VDM led to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) re-investigating Bobrisky.

On the 24th, September 2024, VDM took to Instagram to share a video of the leaked WhatsApp call, where Bobrisky allegedly detailed his encounter with the EFCC and subsequent detention. In the audio recording, Bobrisky claimed to have paid the EFCC N15 million to drop a money laundering allegation.

Bobrisky explained how he collected money from friends to bribe the anti-graft agency, and the case was eventually dropped. He also shared how his troubles began when he won ‘Best Dressed Female’ at Eniola Ajao’s movie premiere and pleaded guilty in court, expecting a fine, but received a prison sentence instead.

After the ruling, Bobrisky claimed his godfather intervened, calling the General Controller of Corrections to arrange a private flat for him to serve his jail term comfortably. Additionally, Bobrisky mentioned that rapper Falz, with his father Femi Falana’s support, proposed introducing a pardon to clean up the mess.

VDM expressed disappointment, saying, “In everything and everyone that is mentioned here, I will be very disappointed if truly FALZ and his father are involved in this whole Bobrisky mess… @officialefcc you must produce the officers that did this dealing, after this Nigeria no go surprise me again, PART 2 LOADING .”

The leaked WhatsApp call sparked widespread outrage, prompting the EFCC to launch a re-investigation into Bobrisky’s case. The commission sought to uncover the truth behind Bobrisky’s claims and identify the officials involved in the alleged bribery.

As reported earlier, the EFCC subsequently invited Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan to assist in the investigation, leading to Bobrisky’s denial of the allegations and labeling the audio recording as fake.
