Media personality Idowu Adeyemi, popularly known as Yhemolee, has advised couples to refrain from checking their partner’s phones to monitor fidelity. Yhemolee, who recently tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Thayour B, emphasized the risks of phone snooping.
“Stop checking your partner’s phone, if you die, the person that made you lose your life will move on,” Yhemolee cautioned in an Instagram video. He shared a personal anecdote, saying, “My friend’s fiancée is in the hospital struggling to breathe after checking his phone overnight… If she went through his phone very well, she might not survive, and even if she survives, whenever she remembers what she saw, she would be traumatized.”
He urged couples to prioritize trust and open communication instead of resorting to invasive monitoring. “My point is, don’t risk your life and sanity; focus on building a healthy relationship,” Yhemolee emphasized.
