Controversial Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has publicly addressed rumors regarding her alleged eviction from her Lagos home due to unpaid rent, which reportedly spans over two years. The speculation gained traction after gossip blog Cutie Julls shared videos suggesting that Okorie’s belongings were being removed from the property, claiming that her ex-husband had previously covered her rent but ceased payments following a fallout.
In a recent Instagram story, Angela vehemently refuted these claims, emphasizing her absence during the incident. She explained that her team was already in the process of vacating the house when the landlord, allegedly collaborating with some of her rivals, arrived to document the situation, seemingly to tarnish her reputation. “I wasn’t even around when they did what they did,” she asserted, calling into question the landlord’s motives.
Angela further criticized the narrative that she had been allowed to stay in the property without paying rent for such an extended period. “My people, if you live in Lagos, no landlord will allow you to live in his house for two years without rent,” she remarked, suggesting that the claim was not only implausible but also a fabrication.
Additionally, she addressed previous rumors that she had purchased a new home in Lekki, Lagos. “Did I ever tell you I bought the house I’m living in Lekki county? I have other houses I bought,” Angela stated, firmly denying the assertions made by the gossip blog. Her frustration was palpable as she challenged the accuracy of the reports.
In her fiery response, she also targeted Cutie Julls directly, expressing her intent to confront the blog over what she perceives as misinformation. “Cutie juice or cutie pie, as gray hair full your pumpum, you no still get sense,” she wrote, emphasizing her discontent with the gossip surrounding her personal life.
Angela concluded her statement with a warning to those spreading rumors, indicating that she plans to take action against them. “The thunder wey go fire you, just wait. I Dey come live…,” she declared, signaling her determination to address the situation head-on.
