Content creator and actress Shakirat Taiwo, also known as Kira Taiwo, has expressed her admiration for her father, veteran actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, for his continued support of her career. In a recent interview with Sunday Scoop, Kira praised Ogogo for making time to feature in her skits despite his busy schedule.
“My daddy is the best. People call him ‘father of all,’ but I am happy he is my daddy,” she said. “He is a very supportive father. In spite of his busy schedule, he creates time to appear in my skits.”
Kira also spoke about the realities of motherhood, describing it as both “sweet but very stressful.” She emphasized the importance of a supportive partner during this challenging phase, particularly when dealing with postpartum depression.
“It is especially sweeter if one’s husband is a caring man, because after birth, postpartum depression might set in. If one has good people around them, like I have, then one is lucky,” she shared, highlighting the role of her support network in her journey as a mother.
In addition to her personal reflections, Kira touched on the collaborative nature of the content creation industry, expressing pride in the success of her peers. “I feel very happy whenever I watch the works of other content creators. I don’t look down on anyone. I do not discredit people’s efforts,” she said. “I follow many content creators on social media. If I like the person, I would follow, irrespective of whether they follow me back or not.”
