Kumawood actress and movie producer Bernice Asare has opened up about her troubled marriage to a pastor, revealing deep regrets over her decision to tie the knot. In an interview with Zionfelix, Bernice shared the challenges she faces in her marriage, citing her husband’s unwavering commitment to his religious duties as a significant source of tension.
“What seemed like an ideal relationship initially turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes of my life,” Bernice confessed. She explained that her husband’s prioritization of ministering to others, including praying for prostitutes, left her feeling emotionally neglected and isolated. “He would prioritize praying for others over spending time with me,” she lamented.
Bernice reflected on the early stages of their relationship, where her husband’s calm demeanor and use of Bible verses provided her comfort during a vulnerable time.
