Nigerian comedian and entertainer SeyiLaw has shared a fascinating and somewhat chilling story about how he believes God guided him to discover an object being used to spy on him. The comedian’s revelation has sparked significant attention, particularly after he saw a tweet from a businesswoman cautioning her followers not to accept mirrors as gifts, which, according to her, could be used for harmful purposes.
SeyiLaw’s experience began after a night of prayer in his room. In an emotional social media post, the comedian explained that he had a spiritual revelation in which God showed him that something was being used to monitor his activities while in his own home. He initially had no idea what the object could be but sensed something was amiss. “It was a feeling I couldn’t shake off,” SeyiLaw said, recalling the moment. “I knew something was off, but I didn’t know what it was.”
The next day, SeyiLaw says he began to search his home for any suspicious items. It wasn’t until he came across a pair of shoes that the truth became clear. “I discovered that the shoes I had received as a gift were being used to spy on me,” he explained. The comedian did not go into specifics about how the shoes were equipped to monitor his activities, but he insisted that they were the source of the intrusion.
In a decisive moment, SeyiLaw said he felt led by God to burn the shoes in order to break whatever negative influence they were harboring. “I just knew I had to destroy them,” he said. “It wasn’t just about the shoes—it was about breaking the hold that whatever was attached to them had over me.” He emphasized that the spiritual act of burning the shoes was necessary for his peace of mind and safety.
The comedian also took a moment to warn others about the potential dangers of accepting gifts without careful consideration. “Be cautious before you accept any gift, no matter how innocent it seems,” he advised his followers. “You never know the intentions behind it. Always trust your instincts.” His words have resonated with many, as people continue to reflect on the possible hidden dangers in seemingly benign offerings.
SeyiLaw also expressed gratitude to fellow comedian and actor Wole Arole, who he says played a pivotal role in helping him navigate the situation. “Wole Arole was a huge support to me during that time,” SeyiLaw acknowledged. “God used him to help me, and I’m thankful for his presence and advice when I needed it most.”
