Chairman of Egor Local Government Area in Edo State, Eghe Ogbemudia, has had his suspension lifted by Governor Godwin Obaseki.
Ogbemudia had been suspended after petitions were made against her alleging financial misappropriation and abuse of power.
Special Adviser to the governor on Media and Communication Strategy, Mr. Crusoe Osagie, announced Ogbemudia’s reinstatement in a statement issued on Monday.
He said the suspension was lifted after an investigative panel cleared her of all allegations.
“She is to resume office immediately,” Osagie said.
